INTRO TO...DISNEY MAGIC BANDS NEWS FLASH!!! Is it the end of the Magic Bands?? Disney has rolled out extra features on the My Disney Experience App:  You can set up your app to function like the Magic Band. You can already unlock your Disney resort door with your smartphone. Now, you can scan into the park and connect PhotoPass. With the PhotoPass, the photographer will scan your phone instead of the Magic Band. Also, you can touch the icon under your photo at the end of some rides and attractions, just like you did with the Magic Band.  Check to see if these new features work with your phone. Also, not everyone has a smartphone, so the bands just might stay around a while longer. Stay tuned!!
