NYC Traveler: Future of Disney's Magic Bands

INTRO TO...DISNEY MAGIC BANDS NEWS FLASH!!! Is it the end of the Magic Bands?? Disney has rolled out extra features on the My Disney Experience App:  You can set up your app to function like the Magic Band. You can already unlock your Disney resort door with your smartphone. Now, you can scan into the park and connect PhotoPass. With the PhotoPass, the photographer will scan your phone instead of the Magic Band. Also, you can touch the icon under your photo at the end of some rides and attractions, just like you did with the Magic Band.  Check to see if these new features work with your phone. Also, not everyone has a smartphone, so the bands just might stay around a while longer. Stay tuned!! 5 Things To Do in  Universal Studios, Florida There are three theme parks at Universal Orlando Resort: Universal's Islands of Adventure, Volcano Bay (water park) and Universal Studios Florida. Enjoy a walk through Hollywood and check out 5 highlights in the Studios side of the resort: Universal Studios, Florida (editorial use only) 1. And, if you choose not to get wet, come after sunset (or during the off season). The price is cheaper when the water park closes.
